Crystal Cove Beach Maternity Session | H & J

Crystal cove is one of my all time favorite places for a beach maternity session. So I was so excited when Haydee and Josh chose this spot for their maternity session.

FUN FACT: Haydee’s dress she wore for this Crystal Cove beach maternity session is part of my client closet i’ve been growing! This dress is perfectly versatile. It fits a size 2 to 8 with our without a baby bump! My clients always ask me where to find affordable , beautiful dresses like this for their session and I always recommend Lulu’s, ASOS, poshmark and thrift stores! Seriously do NOT snub thrift stores when searching for a wedding/photo session dress. In fact, this dress was found at a thrift store in perfect condition UNDER $20. SCORE.

Plus it’s a SUSTAINABLE option for your elopement, wedding or beach photo session. Did you know 12 MILLION, yes MILLION, tons of clothing end up in land fills every year? That’s insane! When you can, try to thrift special outfits instead of buy! You never know what hidden gems you can find! You’ll save money and maybe even find something totally unique you couldn’t have found elsewhere.

I don’t do maternity sessions often since they aren’t my main focus, but when I get to they are seriously so magical and remarkable. When I leave the shoot, I just feel so joyful for my couple! It’s so meaningful to me.
